I had the opportunity to watch an artisan as she carefully created these papers by arranging flower petals, leaves and fibers in beautiful patterns on a sheet of text weight mulberry, then a sheet of thin tissue mulberry is laid over the creation and fused to the underlying materials. The result is a nonetheless sturdy and unique paper! |
