Order online without using Credit Card Our site uses state-of-the art 256-bit encrypted SSL technology , if however you are still uncomfortable transmitting your credit card, personal check data, or using PayPal over the internet, go ahead and place your order online without any of the above. NO PAYMENT DATA NEED BE SENT!
If none of the above techniques satisfy your concerns over internet shopping, the only choice left is to type or write out your entire order on a sheet of paper and mail with personal check or money order. |

| Are these Papers environmentally friendly? | ||||||
| All of our papers use renewable resources (the Lokta and Mulberry bushes for example regenerate fully every 5-6 years) and waste materials (Indian papers are made from a base of cotton rag waste, including blue jeans!). Handmade paper making uses centuries-old methods handed down from one generation to another. Our artisans are proud of their handiwork and would be pleased to know you are concerned about the effect of their vocation on our world and its ecosystems. | ||||||

| What does GSM stand for? | ||||||
| GSM is Grams per Square Meter, a paper industry term that gives a good idea as to the thickness of a paper. Generally anything 10-35 gsm is of tissue consistency, 35-70 gsm is ligher textweight, 70-100 gsm is medium textweight, 100-120 gsm is heavy textweight/light cardstock, 120-150 gsm is regular cardstock weight, 150-200 gsm is heavy cardstock, and greater than 200 gsm is super heavy cardstock. |

| Under no circumstances do we send out spam email or hire a 3rd Party to send Spam Mail on our behalf.
Please be advised there are Spammers that fake the header information in spam email that can make it appear as if it was sent by us. We do send mail to our private customer base once in a great while to those customers who subscribed themselves to our mailing list. All customers completing orders will receive an email invoice and "order shipped" emails. If you have strict filtering in place, such as the filters at AOL, Earthlink, Hotmail, and so on, it is up to you to add our domain (handmade-paper.us) to your known senders. We don't have the time to respond to their validation emails. Our mail will always have a valid return address.
